Have you ever wondered how can I possibly create a stream of income outside of your full-time job? Shifts in the economy, innovation, and the political climate are all factors in unemployment and underemployment rates. The reality is at in the job force we are all expendable. We have to get creative in our way of creating more than one stream of income. No matter where you are in life, we can all utilize our time to find something we are good at and can manage during downtime. Then research on how to turn it into some extra cash.

Even if you already have started up your own business and business is booming it is always good to have that extra money coming in. So, find that free time in between operations to invest your time into other ventures.

I created this post back in April 2017 outlining 8 ways you can make some extra money during your downtime. I have now updated the list and added a few extra items. The good thing is most of these can be done right from home.

You may have a skill or maybe knowledge on a subject that may prove valuable to someone else. You do not have to teach in a physical classroom to pass on your knowledge. Skillshare and Udemy are great sites for startup courses to educate others on a specific subject matter.

Selling digital and unused files

Selling digital files is another great way to earn extra income. If you have digital art that you have created that you wouldn’t mind selling then Society6 is one great site to use.

You can also sell leftover graphics that you may have created and had no use for. Graphic Leftovers is a cool site to use and sells stock images without the premium price.

Sell Your Photos

Do you love to carry your camera and snap away at beautiful scenes or everyday walks of life? If so then you can turn this hobby into a side business. There are various sites where you can sell your photos, so why leave these files sitting on your computer?

With an appealing design, you can make the breakthrough you need even with the competition out there. If you have a print design template such as a brochure, flyer, or business card you can upload them to Inkd to sell for profit.

Selling Typefaces

Selling typefaces online is one great way to earn passive income. Draw up your design then create a digital copy of your design. Myfont.com and Dafont.com are a couple of sites you can upload them to and start earning. As long as you have the skills and resources to do this the trick will be uploading a catching font that will make passive income

Selling on eBay

Selling novelties and unused items online can help put a little extra cash in your pocket. It is easy to sign up and then start listing your items. Your efforts come in when your item has a successful bid. You will then have to ship your items manually.
